Patients with IBS are not more likely to have polyps, colon cancer than those in healthy patients undergoing colonoscopy with irritable bowel syndrome are unlikely to have more polyps, colon cancer or inflammatory diseases of the gut than healthy people to undergo colonoscopy, a new study published in the American Journal of Gastroenterology.
